
Judaism is a monothiestic religion that is celebrated by Jews. Judaism was originated in the Middle east over 3500 years ago. Judiasm has a rich history with religious texts however, the most important is the Torah. The Torah is most commonly saw as the interpretation of the laws that Jews followed for all the good that God has done for us. Jews worship in synagogues. there are many people however, who call themselves Jewish without actually following or acting upon any Jewish Law.
The Torah is the first part of the Jewish bible. It is the central and most important document of Judaism. The Torah is written in Hebrew and is the first section of the Jewish Bible. The term "Torah" means instruction and offers a way of life for those who follow it; and it can even mean the totality of Jewish teaching, culture and practice. They are always hand-written, in attractive Hebrew calligraphy with "crowns" (crows-foot-like marks coming up from the upper points) on many of the letters.
