By creating these Facebook Profiles, the International Studies students hoped to put a face behind the genocides that have been committed through history. Some of these are still considered to be "contested" or "unofficial genocides", but it is their hope through the awareness of our Operation Generation Without Genocide  campaign that individuals such as these remain part of a dark past and remind students that we all have an obligation to prevent these atrocities from happening again.
