1. What are the major beliefs of the belief system? Describe and explain each belief.
Christians believe in the Trinity that is, in God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Some confuse this and think that Christians believe in three separate gods, which they don't. Christians believe that God took human form as Jesus Christ and that God is present today through the work of the Holy Spirit and evident in the actions of believers. Christians believe that there is only one God, whom they call Father as Jesus Christ taught them. Christianity developed out of Judaism in the 1st century C.E. It’s founded on the life teachings death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and those who follow him are called ‘‘Christians.’’

The values taught in the Bible are often the opposite of worldly values: kindness and respect for all people instead of power; humility instead of status; honesty and generosity instead of wealth; self-control instead of self-indulgence; forgiveness instead of revenge. Christian values promote peace and goodwill among people in accordance with the purposes of God. We will never achieve perfection in this life, but those people who strive to obey God often find a sense of joy and peace that no worldly rewards can match! Christianity has highlighted and encoded human evil at its worst. It is only against Christian moral theory that Christian heroes have battled to do good. The values of Christianity are people in Europe during the middle aged time with social economic and politically.

Christianity is the faith tradition that focuses on the figure of Jesus Christ. The faith refers both to the believers’ act of trust and to the content of their faith. Is the belief system religiously tolerant? How does the religion promote peace?
Yes, Christianity is religiously tolerant. By law, people can believe in what they want without having fear of oppressive persecution. Christianity promotes peace in my perspective because they don't believe in crime, violence or judging other human beings. This is an image of Jesus releasing a dove. This symbolizes jesus spreading peace.

There are numerous of branches in Christianity, up to about thirty-five . The 3 main branches of Christianity are Protestants, Catholics and eastern Orthodox. The reason why for these divided groups of Christianity is because people have different point of views or disagreements of the beliefs. This has often led to debates within the churches.

Catholics originated in the Roman Catholic Church, its one of the most oldest branches of Christianity, it can trace its history back almost 2000 years, its founder was Jesus Christ. Another major branches of Christianity are the Orthodox, which mean "correct teaching", it started about 960 years back.Orthodox beliefs are based on consistency with the Bible, its founder was Paul the Apostle. Another major branches of Christianity are the Protestants which started about 500 years back, it began with Martin Luther's break with the Roman Church. Martin Luther was also consider as an founder of Protestantism.
