Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren was born on June 22, 1949 in Oklahoma City, she grew up in a family that was economically struggling, but strived and studied law and married her first husband in at 19. She earned her law degree in 1976 and became a law professor specializing in bankruptcy. Elizabeth Warren has helped with programs such as the Congressional Oversight Panel, and has also been appointed by President Barack Obama to be special advisor to the secretary of treasury. It was not until 2011 that Elizabeth Warren officially announced candidacy for Massachusetts senate and became viral through videos, she won the election in November 2012, and defeated her opponent Brown by 5% or 6%, she was also the first woman ever elected to the post for Massachusetts.
