Biography
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Andrew Cuomo is an American politician of the Democratic party, author, and the current governor of New York State (since 2011). He has dedicated his time and efforts in advancing public service and embodies the leadership skills to make the government work for the people of the Big Apple. As the son of Matilda and the former Governor Mario Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo has witnessed first-hand and learned the importance of fighting for equality and opportunity for all. Under his leadership, it is evidently shown how New York progressed over the years, enacting a stronger economy, a cleaner environment, and more educational opportunities.
